Description

Aldehyde C11 Undecylenic, also known as 10-Undecenal, is a powerful aliphatic aldehyde with a distinctive waxy, rosy, citrus, green and soapy character. It is an important material in the classic aldehydic perfumery palette and is valued for its ability to create lift, freshness and diffusion. In fragrance construction, Aldehyde C11 is particularly useful for creating fresh floral, rose, citrus, aldehydic and clean-laundry effects. Aldehyde C11 Undecylenic is best evaluated from a low-percentage dilution, particularly when learning to work with aliphatic aldehydes. It can quickly transform a flat floral or citrus accord into something brighter and more diffusive.

For a classic aldehydic effect, combine it with Aldehyde C10, Aldehyde C12 MNA, rose materials and floral alcohols. For a clean modern effect, try it with citrus oils, Hedione, linalool and soft musks.
