Bornafix is useful for building a warm, dry and modern woody foundation. Combine it with Cedarwood and Sandalwood to reinforce a natural wood accord, or pair it with Vetiver and Patchouli for a darker, earthy direction.

For a fresh woody composition, try Bornafix + Bergamot + Lavender + Juniper Berry + Ambroxan. Olibanum can add a refined resinous dimension, while Labdanum and Benzoin can create a warmer amber base.

Because woody materials can accumulate quickly in a formula, start at moderate levels and evaluate the complete accord before increasing the dosage.
