Description
Cashmerane is a powerful modern aroma chemical known for its distinctive warm, woody, musky, amber and spicy character. It is widely used in contemporary perfumery to create texture, warmth and depth while adding a soft yet diffusive woody effect.
Its aroma combines woody, musky, amber, spicy, powdery and slightly floral facets. It can create a tactile, warm impression reminiscent of soft fabrics, making it particularly useful for adding a smooth and enveloping quality to fragrance compositions.
Cashmerane works especially well in woody, amber, musky, spicy, oriental and modern floral fragrances. It can add volume to a composition and help connect fresh, floral and woody materials.

Perfumers' Tip
Cashmerane is excellent for adding a warm, textured and enveloping woody-musky effect. Combine it with Iso E Super and Ambroxan for a modern diffusive woody base, or pair it with Sandalwood and Cedarwood for a richer wood profile.
For a warm spicy composition, try Cashmerane + Black Pepper + Cardamom + Labdanum + Sandalwood. Rose and Jasmine can highlight its subtle floral facets, while Vanilla and Benzoin can create a softer amber effect.
Cashmerane has a strong and distinctive character, so start at low levels and evaluate carefully. Small additions can noticeably change the texture and warmth of a fragrance.
