Oud Base Accord is excellent for building a deep, luxurious and persistent woody foundation. Pair it with Rose and Saffron for a classic oriental rose-oud profile, or combine it with Cypriol, Patchouli and Vetiver for a darker, earthy interpretation.

For a modern oud fragrance, try Oud Base Accord + Ambroxan + Iso E Super + Sandalwood + Cashmeran. Vanilla and Benzoin can soften the darker facets, while Cardamom and Black Pepper provide a fresh spicy lift.

Use the accord at low levels initially and increase gradually during evaluation, as its rich woody character can quickly dominate a formula.
