Amber Extreme is best treated as a high-impact modifier rather than a conventional bulk ingredient. Begin with a very dilute solution and add gradually until the desired woody-amber effect appears.

For powerful modern woody compositions, try combining it with Iso E Super, Ambroxan, Cashmeran and Ambermax. For an oud direction, pair it with patchouli, cypriol, guaiacwood and labdanum.
