Perfumers' Tip

Amyl Vinyl Carbinol is extremely characterful, so work from a very dilute solution. Tiny quantities can introduce a convincing mushroom, damp-green or earthy nuance without making the entire fragrance smell overtly fungal.

For a realistic earth-after-rain effect, experiment with trace amounts alongside Geosmin and green materials. For lavender-fougère compositions, pair it with lavender, lavandin, linalool and aromatic materials to add a more natural herbal dimension.
