Description

Amyris Oil is a warm and smooth woody essential oil known for its creamy, balsamic and softly sweet woody character.

It has a gentle sandalwood-like quality, combined with warm, resinous, slightly smoky and balsamic facets. Its rounded character makes it an excellent supporting material for building soft woody bases without overwhelming the rest of the composition.

Amyris Oil is particularly useful in woody, amber, oriental, balsamic, creamy and modern unisex fragrances. It can also add warmth and smoothness to floral and aromatic compositions.

Amyris Oil is excellent for creating a smooth, creamy and warm woody foundation. Combine it with Sandalwood, Javanol and Polysantol to reinforce a creamy sandalwood character, or pair it with Cedarwood and Vetiver for a drier woody effect.

For a rich oriental base, try Amyris Oil + Labdanum + Benzoin + Vanillin + Sandalwood. Rose and Jasmine can add a luxurious floral dimension, while Ambroxan and Iso E Super can give the composition greater diffusion and a modern woody finish.
