Description

Armenian Wood is a sophisticated woody-amber perfumery base created by dsm-firmenich and inspired by the traditional Armenian scented paper that was historically burned to perfume homes. Rather than being a single aroma molecule, it is a prepared fragrance base built around a benzoin Siam olfactive axis, combined with other perfumery materials to create a warm, balsamic and comforting character.

In fragrance construction, Armenian Wood is useful for adding warmth, balsamic richness, woody depth and a cozy ambery character. For a richer oriental effect, combine it with benzoin, labdanum, vanillin and patchouli. For a more modern woody profile, pair it with Ambroxan, Iso E Super and smooth sandalwood materials.
