Description

Frankincense Carteri Oil from Somalia is a bright, fresh and resinous essential oil distilled from the aromatic resin of Boswellia carteri. Its character is typically more sparkling and citrus-like than heavier frankincense profiles, with fresh balsamic, woody and slightly peppery nuances that make it highly useful in natural perfumery.

In fragrance composition, Frankincense Carteri works particularly well in incense, fresh, woody, resinous, amber and oriental accords. Its lively opening can add radiance to a formula, while its resinous character helps connect citrus and aromatic top notes with woody and balsamic materials in the dry-down.

It pairs naturally with bergamot, lemon and grapefruit for a bright resinous opening.
