Description

Kephalis is a powerful woody-amber fragrance material with a warm, dry and sophisticated character. Its odor profile combines woody facets with subtle tobacco, leather, spice and balsamic nuances, making it an excellent material for adding depth and complexity to fragrance compositions.

In perfumery, Kephalis is widely used in woody, amber, tobacco, leather and oriental accords. It provides excellent substantivity and can give the fragrance a rich, structured drydown.

Kephalis is particularly effective in masculine and unisex fragrances, but its warm character can also bring depth to floral and oriental compositions. It can bridge fresh aromatic top notes with powerful woody and amber base materials.
