Description

Lyral is the trade name commonly associated with Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde (HICC), a synthetic fragrance material known for its soft, delicate floral character. Its odor profile is strongly associated with muguet (lily-of-the-valley), cyclamen and lilac, with a smooth floral quality reminiscent of hydroxycitronellal. Historically, Lyral was an important material for constructing classic muguet and floral fragrances.
