Opoponax Absolute is excellent for creating a sweet, warm and balsamic resinous base. Combine it with Olibanum and Myrrh for a classic incense direction, or pair it with Benzoin, Vanilla and Tonka Bean for a smooth amber-gourmand effect.

For a rich woody composition, try Opoponax Absolute + Labdanum + Patchouli + Cedarwood + Sandalwood. Cardamom and Black Pepper can highlight its spicy facets, while Bergamot and Mandarin can brighten the composition.
