Description

Phenyl Acetaldehyde Dimethyl Acetal, commonly known as PADMA or Viridine, is a versatile green-floral aroma chemical with a fresh and elegant character. It provides a combination of green, floral, hyacinth-like, honeyed and slightly fruity facets.

Perfumers' Tip

PADMA is excellent for adding a fresh green and slightly honeyed floral character. Combine it with Hydroxy Citronellal and Floropal for a fuller muguet-hyacinth effect, or use it with Cis-3-Hexenol and Cis-3-Hexenyl Acetate for a greener natural impression. Hedione can add floral diffusion, while white musks provide a clean and smooth finish.
