Phenyl Acetaldehyde Glycerine Acetal, commonly known as Acetal CD, is a versatile floral aroma chemical with a soft, sweet and natural character. It provides honey-like, green, floral and slightly rosy nuances, making it particularly valuable for creating elegant floral compositions.

Perfumers' Tip

Acetal CD is excellent for giving floral compositions a soft, natural and slightly honeyed character. Combine it with Phenyl Acetaldehyde for a fuller floral effect, or use it with Hydroxycitronellal and Hedione for a smooth, diffusive floral heart. It is particularly useful when you want floral sweetness without making the composition excessively heavy.
