Description

Raspberry Ketone, commonly known as Frambinone or RBK, is a distinctive fruity aroma chemical valued for its sweet, juicy and characteristic raspberry-like odor.

It provides a combination of raspberry, berry, fruity, floral and slightly woody facets, making it highly useful for building realistic berry accords. It can also introduce a soft sweetness and natural fruity character into floral and gourmand compositions.

Perfumers' Tip

Raspberry Ketone is an excellent material for creating a recognizable sweet raspberry effect. Combine it with fruity esters for juicy freshness and with Ethyl Maltol or Vanillin for a sweeter, candy-like interpretation. Gamma lactones can add creamy fruitiness, while Hedione and Phenethyl Alcohol can soften and expand the fruity-floral heart.

Because RBK has a strong character, start at a low concentration and increase gradually during evaluation.
