Description

Rose Oxide is a distinctive rose-type aroma chemical known for its fresh, green and slightly metallic character. It provides a highly recognizable rosy effect with cool, minty and litchi-like nuances, making it one of the most useful specialty materials for creating a vivid and natural rose impression. Perfumers' Tip

Rose Oxide is best treated as a powerful accent material. Use a very dilute solution to add a sparkling green-metallic lift to rose accords, especially alongside Citronellol and Geraniol. It can also create a beautiful modern rose effect when paired with litchi or fresh fruity notes, but excessive use can quickly make the composition metallic or harsh.
