Description

Scentenal is a distinctive marine-green aroma chemical with a complex watery, ozonic and aldehydic character. Scentenal is best treated as a high-impact freshness modifier. Use it at very low levels with Calone or Helional to create a more complex marine accord, or combine it with green materials and Hedione for an airy fresh-floral effect. Always evaluate it from a dilute solution, as increasing the dosage can quickly shift the composition toward a strongly ozonic or metallic character.
