Description

Styralyl Acetate, also known as Styrallyl Acetate, is a fresh and elegant green-floral aroma chemical with a distinctive combination of hyacinth-like, fruity, leafy and slightly rosy facets.

It is particularly useful for adding freshness and natural character to floral compositions. Compared with the corresponding alcohol, its acetate form provides a softer, more rounded and slightly fruity interpretation that works well in modern floral accords.

In perfumery, Styralyl Acetate is especially useful in hyacinth, green floral, fresh, fruity-floral and natural-style compositions. It can also add a subtle fruity lift to floral and green accords.

Perfumers' Tip

Styralyl Acetate is useful for giving floral accords a fresh, green and subtly fruity character. Combine it with Styralyl Alcohol for a fuller hyacinth effect, or use it with Hydroxy Citronellal and Floropal for a fresh green-floral accord. Cis-3-Hexenyl Acetate can emphasize the leafy side, while Hedione adds diffusion and white musks provide a clean finish.
